"Beşiktaş" received a fine for a cat running onto the field (VIDEO)

Failure to restrain a runaway cat on the field will cost Istanbul's "Beşiktaş" 34,000 euros, UEFA announced. Due to this episode, the match at the "Vodafone" Arena against Munich's "Bayern" had to be briefly halted, which the visitors eventually won 3-1. Fans jokingly later voted the cat as the most valuable player of the match, but UEFA representatives did not find it amusing. They called it "insufficient organization". The mentioned amount also includes fines for items thrown onto the field by fans. At the same time, UEFA also fined "Bayern" 25,000 euros for fans running onto the field during their match against Madrid's "Real", and for displaying offensive banners in the stands. Donezk's "Shakhtar", who faced "Roma", will have to pay 7,000 euros - children selling footballs at the club's stadium were wasting time.
