The list of the best-paid athletes on the planet is dominated by football players.

According to the "Mirror" and "Sportico," five representatives from this sport have made it into the TOP 10 of athletes.

The first place went uncontested to "Al Nassr" forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who earned $260 million in 2024. It is claimed that the Arab team transferred him $215 million, while the remaining amount was earned by the veteran from contracts with advertisers and elsewhere.

Miami "Inter" representative Lionel Messi took fourth place ($135 million), and former "Al Hilal" forward Neymar ($133 million) took sixth place.

Also in the top ten are Karim Benzema ("Al Ittihad," $116 million) and Kylian Mbappe (PSG-"Real," $110 million).

It is emphasized that not a single woman made it into the TOP 100 list of the highest-earning athletes.
