An interesting scenario occurred in Ireland on Saturday.

The Nations League match between Ireland and England ended 0:2 in favor of the visitors.

The goals for England were scored by two unexpected players in Ireland – Jack Grealish and Declan Rice. They scored in the 11th and 26th minutes, respectively.

J. Grealish previously represented all of Ireland's youth national teams. D. Rice even played for the Irish men's national team. Later, the football association (FA) that recognized the talent of these players invited them to represent England.

Both players' grandmothers hail from Ireland.

Other results:

Germany 5:0 Hungary

Netherlands 5:2 Bosnia and Herzegovina

Armenia 4:1 Latvia
