"Lyon" team coach Bruno Genesio praised the team's newcomer Memphis Depay for his efforts to quickly fit into the team.
On Sunday, the 22-year-old Dutchman made his debut for his new club and helped secure an important victory (3:1) against "Marseille".
The forward appeared on the field with 11 minutes left to play, replacing Mathieu Valbuena who scored a goal.
"He showed that he can adapt to our playing philosophy. I saw the chemistry emerging between him and his teammates, and I also liked his defensive work. Of course, Memphis still lacks playing practice, but his physical preparation is good, and I would also highlight his great desire. I think he will bring versatility to the 'Lyon' team," Genesio confirmed.
