London's "Chelsea" played their second friendly match in the pre-season preparation cycle.
At the "Notre Dame" stadium in the USA, the "aristocrats" suffered a defeat, losing 1:4 to the Glasgow "Celtic" club.
After the first half, Enzo Maresca's team was trailing 0:2. Goals were scored by Matt O'Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi. In the second half, within a few minutes, the Scottish champions added two more goals. This time, Michael Johnson and Luis Palma found the net.
At the end of the match, Christopher Nkunku reduced the deficit, scoring from the penalty spot.
It is worth noting that just a few days prior, "Celtic" also defeated "Manchester City" – 4:3.
"Chelsea" drew 2:2 in their first friendly match against "Wrexham."
