Due to the crisis engulfing the relations between Great Britain and Russia, a radical opinion of a famous politician about recently re-elected Vladimir Putin has emerged.
According to British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, during the upcoming World Cup, the Russian will be glorified in every match and therefore consideration should be given to boycotting the tournament.
"I think the comparison of what will happen in Moscow and in all the stadiums is correct, if we were to talk about Nazi Germany.
Putin will try to use the World Cup, just as Adolf Hitler did with the 1936 Olympics.
I think England should not participate in the global championship.
I don't think we should support Putin by participating in his public relations games, covering up the human rights violations for which he is responsible," Johnson stated.
