"Blackburn" rejects defender Chimbonda

The club has decided not to extend the contract with defender Pascal Chimbonda and has given him the opportunity to move to another team in January.

The footballer's contract is valid until next summer, but it is expected that Chimbonda will already have a new team in winter.

Blackburn's right-back joined the team in the summer of 2009, coming from London's Tottenham.
