April passed, there were no major changes in the rankings, but interesting trends can be noticed.
EPL clubs all stayed in the top twenty, where they were after March. However, only MU remained in the top five. The positions of the clubs changed minimally, with only "Everton" dropping three spots.
The big Spanish clubs remained in the top five, with "Atletico" in the top ten. Climbing successfully up the rankings is "Real Sociedad".
"Juventus" remained in the top ten. "Fiorentina" entered the top twenty. The "Lithuanian" clubs "Roma" and "Lazio" are holding relatively high positions – 24th and 34th respectively.
The Bundesliga trio is doing great – "Bayern" strengthened their lead, while "Borussia" and "Bayer" moved up.
Standouts:
"Wolfsburg"
Didn't do anything very impressive, but 8 points in a month were enough to make the biggest leap upwards. They played draws against "Bayer" and "Hoffenheim", crushed "Werder", and easily defeated "Mgladbach". +17 places in the rankings and only +1 in the league.
Underperformers:
"Levante"
Scored only one goal in a month – against "Real". However, "Real" crushed them, as did "Deportivo". In general, they lost all 4 games played in April, including against this year's definitely weak "Celta" at home. -3 places in Primera and -15 in the rankings.
