"I am a political science student, a simple person who loves football. Since May 2010, I have been writing my blog at www.blogas.lt/subo.

The essence of my writing is not to pretend to be an expert, which I do not consider myself to be, but to express my subjective impressions or objectively weigh in on the most amazing game in the world - football matches and news," says the author of the BLOG.

"Napoli" vs "Roma" and "Palermo": what went well and what didn't go well?

Impressions from the last few "Napoli" matches are as follows:

WELL:

1. Pandev. I am not as in love with him as a sadly famous commentator, especially since he is balding and, worse, Macedonian, but not to be impressed by Pandev's game is quite difficult. Of course, Napoli rarely lacks creativity, but how he handled opponents' defenders and created opportunities was impressive. Two assists and essentially provoked a penalty kick, without all that "Napoli" would not have come so close to the medals.

2. Cavani. In the last few matches, he was much more selfish than usual, but who should care as long as Cavani continues to score goals and be active. Although not as monstrous as he was in his peak form a month ago, he still plays in a way that gives defenders a headache.

3. Hamsik. Although this season in general Cavani and Lavezzi have been in the shadows, he has regained good form lately. Although Roma essentially coped with him, he still made an assist, and against "Palermo" he was the main flying Macedonian assistant creating opportunities. And, of course, he scored a beautiful goal himself.

4. Zuniga. In his area, he traditionally created havoc, and although Napoli's defense is usually quite poor, Zuniga thrives there. And most importantly, what he did was an impressive goal against "Roma."

5. Identity. What has been captivating this whole season is that Napoli has its identity. You turn on the match and know what to expect. Of course, sometimes opponents force them to play much worse, but the decisions and tactics remain classic. The team's identity is attractive, like that of other discoveries of this season - Athletic, Montpellier, or the resurrected "Arsenal" from the ashes. It is clear that since Maradona's time, this is the most stylish Napoli team.

NOT SO WELL:

1. Aronica. Napoli's player resources are limited and that sometimes shows. Against "Roma," Aronica played tolerably, but against Palermo, he made a plethora of mistakes.

2. Lavezzi. The monster sulks, and with a good-natured smile, he starts matches on the bench. When the cameras show him, it seems like he's laughing. Then he easily runs off and in the middle of the second half goes on the field to disrupt the team's game. This scenario could divert attention from "Inter" and "Chelsea" even more than, as rumored, the kind requests from Neapolitan mafia to stay.

3. Inler. It is obvious that the way Napoli usually avoids holding the ball in the middle of the field shows that the defensive line is quite weak. The main reason for the tragic first half against "Roma" was Inler's somewhat hopeless efforts to somehow establish more control over the midfield.

4. Dzemaili. Another player who was quite off against "Roma" and did not handle his tasks. Of course, recovering after the break was hampered by an injury.

5. Set pieces. A double problem: the inability to defend them seriously and the inability to convert them. Of course, Fernandez does quite well in both areas, but lacks support from his colleagues in such situations.
