During the only matches played in the XXXIV round of the English Premier League on Sunday, the hopes of the most optimistic London Arsenal fans to see the team captain Cesc Fabregas lifting the country's champion's trophy this season were shattered.
Arsene Wenger's team, in the final minutes of the match away, lost 2-1 to Bolton, who are in eighth place in the league standings.
In the second half, after numerous missed opportunities by the Gunners, the home team's goalkeeper Tamir Cohen scored with a header in the 90th minute.
With four rounds left until the end of the championship, Arsenal are nine points behind the league leaders, Manchester United.
In second place is another London team - Chelsea.
