The head coach of Dortmund's Borussia, Jurgen Klopp, admits that Munich's Bayern is currently a stronger team, but the strategist still has hope of defeating them.
This Saturday, at the "Signal Iduna Park" stadium, the two eternal rivals of German football - Borussia and Bayern - will clash. The latter confidently lead the Bundesliga championships and have a 31-point advantage over the 10th placed BVB.
Klopp acknowledges that his team's performance has declined significantly since 2013, but hopes that they can take points from the Bavarians.
"At the moment we are not on the same level as Bayern," admitted Klopp. "Nevertheless, we still have a chance to fight for victory against them, even though the situation of both teams differs from last season."
In the Bayern team, Ribery, Robben, and Alaba will be absent, but they still have a great attacking trio - Muller, Gotze, and Lewandowski. Eventually, Lahm will also be able to help the Bavarians.
"Without Robben and Ribery, they will lack speed on the wings, so we will try to take advantage of that and consider how their playing style might change," added the German.
The 27th Bundesliga match between the "yellow-blacks" and the Bavarians will start on Saturday at 7:30 PM.
