UEFA Champions League semi-finalist Borussia Dortmund's defender expressed a desire to move to a club in Spain or England in the future.
Ilkay Gundogan says that he will definitely remain at the German club next season and promises to start negotiations for a new contract, but later his goal is to move abroad.
"My goal is to play in Spain or England," Gundogan told the AS newspaper. "For now, I am happy here, but I have a plan for how my career should develop. I don't know what will happen in the future, but I want to play in one of these countries. I like the Spanish playing style."
"I have a contract with Borussia until 2015, and the club wants to extend it. Negotiations are ongoing, but as of now, nothing is agreed," the defender confirmed.
Gundogan put on the Dortmund team's jersey in the summer of 2011 and has since become an important member of the team.
