Recently, reports emerged claiming that Dortmund's "Borussia" talent Ousmane Dembele had already agreed on personal terms with "Barcelona". However, these rumors were denied by the sports director of the German club, Michael Zorc.
The Frenchman is linked to "Barca" because they recently sold Neymar for a record amount and are looking for a replacement for him.
BvB's attacking midfielder, it seems, certainly has all the necessary qualities to compensate for the loss of the Brazilian, but the club's chief executive officer, Hans-Joachim Watzke, spoke yesterday that he would only agree to sell Dembele for more than 100 million euros.
"I don't know about any agreement," Zorc said after the team's friendly match against "Erfurt".
"It will undoubtedly haunt us for some time," the sports director said about the circulating rumors. "There is no point in constantly commenting on those endless rumors."
Earlier, Dembele himself said that being associated with "Barcelona" is pleasant.
Last season, he scored 10 goals and provided 21 assists in 49 matches in all competitions.
