Before the upcoming UEFA Champions League matches in Germany, the last "DFB Pokal" quarterfinal match was played.
The clash between Dortmund's "Borussia" and "Lotte" clubs was supposed to take place weeks ago, but due to poor weather conditions and pitch quality, the match was postponed until today.
The "Yellow and Black" did not score any goals in the first half, but they were not in the mood to joke around in the next 45 minutes and celebrated a 3-0 victory.
In the 57th minute, Christian Pulisic put the visitors ahead, and the advantage was increased after nine minutes by Andre Schurrle. The final touch came in the 83rd minute when Marcel Schmelzer scored.
"Borussia" will face "Bayern" in the German Cup semifinals, while in the other semifinal pair, "Gladbach Borussia" and Frankfurt's "Eintracht" will compete for a spot in the final.
