Dortmund's "Borussia" faced off against league newcomers "Darmstadt" at home. The "Yellow-Blacks" let the victory slip away from their hands at the end of the match and settled for a 2-2 draw.
On the 17th minute, the visitors took the lead after Marcelo Heller's goal, but in the second half, two goals by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang allowed "Borussia" to take the lead.
However, this advantage was not preserved until the end of the match, and a precise shot by Aytac Sulu in the 90th minute determined the draw.
After the draw, "Borussia" remains in second place, but they are trailing behind the leader, Munich's "Bayern," by 4 points.
