The football news portal Goal.com wrote that Turin's "Juventus" has made a 30 million euro offer for Dortmund's "Borussia" midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, but it was rejected.
It is reported that the 25-year-old German is the main target of the "bianconeri" and they want to acquire the player this winter.
However, BvB, aiming to return to the UEFA Champions League, is not planning to sell one of their leaders in the middle of the season.
On the contrary, "Borussia" officials want to extend his contract, which currently runs until 2017. However, this will depend on Gundogan himself, who will decide about his future after the season.
If the German refuses to sign a new contract, the Dortmund club will have no choice but to sell him. Besides "Juventus," Barcelona, London's Arsenal, and Manchester City are also actively interested in the midfielder.
Interestingly, Gundogan had already decided to leave "Borussia" and the club released a statement in spring bidding farewell to the player. Surprisingly, a new two-year contract was signed in the summer.
