Dortmund's "Borussia" confirmed that they did not agree to accept Barcelona's offer for their talent Ousmane Dembele.
The Catalans are looking for a replacement for the departed Neymar and see the Frenchman as a perfect candidate, and some reports have already claimed that the transfer is agreed upon.
Furthermore, BvB coach Peter Bosz revealed that the attacking winger missed the club's training session today. However, for now at least, the 20-year-old will not move to La Liga.
"Dortmund's 'Borussia' spoke with the Catalan club Barcelona about a possible Ousmane Dembele transfer," - stated in an official announcement.
"During this meeting, Barcelona representatives made an offer that did not match the player's exceptional football talent or value to the club and the current situation in the European transfer market. Therefore, BvB rejected this offer."
"As there is currently no other offer from Barcelona, the player's transfer to Barcelona is not happening and is now unlikely."
Recently, Borussia officials insisted that Dembele would only be sold for more than 100 million euros.
