"Borussia" talent is fascinated by W. Rooney's game

This summer, English clubs hunted for Borussia Dortmund talent Christian Pulisic, who revealed that he used to admire Manchester United team and draw inspiration from their captain Wayne Rooney.

The 17-year-old is highly valued among his peers, and his game is being watched by clubs like Liverpool and Stoke City.

However, it seems that the American has a good chance of being attracted to the "Red Devils" as well.

"When I was younger, I was a big Manchester United fan," Pulisic told ESPN. "I enjoyed watching Rooney. On the other hand, I wouldn't say that I am a similar player to him."

"I think many footballers don't have the same passion for the game as he does. That's what I liked about him."

With competition in the BvB lineup this season, Pulisic will have to compete with the club's new arrivals Mario Gotze, Andre Schurrle, Emre Mor, and Ousmane Dembele.
