Dortmund's "Borussia" quietly and calmly completed a transfer on Tuesday.
The German vice-champions acquired Berlin's "Union" right-back defender Julian Ryerson for 5 million euros.
The 25-year-old Norwegian played 19 matches for the team from the German capital this season and did not score once. In the previous Bundesliga season, the defender scored 2 goals.
Ryerson has been playing for "Union" since 2018, when his team was still in the 2nd Bundesliga.
Meanwhile, the German media reported that after the season, Raphael Guerreiro is most likely to leave Borussia.
👋 There he is already! Julian #Ryerson is moving from 1. FC Union Berlin to #BVB. The Norwegian national player has signed a contract until June 30, 2026 and will wear the number 26 at Schwarzgelb. 🙌
