Dortmund's "Borussia" defender Kevin Grosskreutz got involved in an unpleasant incident.
On Sunday night, the 25-year-old footballer went out for a walk and threw a kebab at a man shouting his surname.
The man soon turned to the police, claiming that the hot dish burned his face.
Walking together, teammate Julian Schieber defended his colleague: "A group of young rival club fans sang about Kevin and this annoyed him, so he threw his kebab."
K.Grosskreutz spread a public apology text and stated that he regrets his actions.
