Today, the head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, Blazas Sliškovičius, announced the national team lineup for the qualifying matches for the 2006 FIFA World Cup on March 26 in Brussels against Belgium and on March 30 in Sarajevo against Lithuania.

The lineup includes Elvir Baljič, who just a week ago announced his retirement but changed his decision a few days later. Explaining his impulsive decision, Baljič said he was deeply affected by seeing his sick child. The thirty-year-old has represented clubs such as Real Madrid, Rayo Vallecano, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahce during his career.
