During yesterday's World Cup qualifying match in the city of Zenica, there was almost a mass brawl among the fans. During the match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine, the Ukrainian fans in the stands raised an upside-down Russian flag and chanted insults against its president, Vladimir Putin. However, there was a sudden misunderstanding at the stadium - local fans thought that the Ukrainian fans were trying to insult Serbia and wanted to attack them. The situation had to be controlled by numerous security forces. The Ukrainians triumphed 2:0 in the match, securing second place in the group and advancing to the qualifying playoffs.
