In the past, the famous Brazilian footballer and the best player in the world Ronaldo announced that he is not ruling out the idea of returning and continuing his sports career, Estadao reports.
The 38-year-old footballer, who retired in 2011, is considering joining the North American Soccer League (NASL) team "Fort Lauderdale Strikers". Ronaldo is one of the team's co-owners.
"I would definitely like to play for the team and help shape its composition. This way I would contribute to the strengthening and development of the club," explained Ronaldo.
Brazil has been voted the best player in various elections multiple times, twice became world champion, twice received the World Footballer of the Year award - the "Golden Ball". During his football career, Ronaldo played for teams such as "Barcelona", Madrid's "Real", Milan's "Inter" and PSV.
