On Wednesday, crucial semi-final matches were played at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
The first semi-final match took place at the "Maracana" stadium between the hosts Brazil and Honduras football players. Neymar's team showed no mercy to their opponents and advanced to the final by defeating them with a crushing 6-0 score.
Neymar led the hosts forward as early as the first attack, when a Honduran defender made a mistake near his own goal. The Brazilians did not intend to calm down after scoring goals, and in the first half, future "Manchester City" striker Gabriel Jesus added two precise strikes.
In the second half, the Olympic Brazilian team faced no difficulties, and goals from Marquinhos, Luano, and Neymar allowed them to enjoy a decisive victory with a 6-0 score.
In the other semi-final match, the Nigerian and German national teams fought for a spot in the final. The Germans, defending European pride, showed superiority over the Africans and advanced to the Olympic final.
In the 9th minute, Lukas Klostermann put the Germans ahead, and Nils Petersen secured the victory at the end of the match after coming on as a substitute.
The fights for Olympic bronze and gold will take place on August 20.
