During Monday evening's „Premier“ league match, „Brentford“ defeated „Liverpool“ players at home with a score of 3:1.
The first goal of the match came in the 19th minute. After a corner kick, a player from the „Liverpool“ team made a mistake and directed the ball into their own goal.
„Brentford“ doubled their lead in the 42nd minute. Yoane Wissa scored with a header after Mathias Janseno's floated ball caught opponent's goalkeeper Allison off guard.
In the second half, Jurgen Klopp's players stepped up their game and managed to narrow the gap. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored in the 50th minute.
However, despite showing almost nothing in attack in the second half, the „bees“ managed to break out on a dangerous counterattack and finished it with a goal. Bryan Mbeumo scored his team's third goal in the 84th minute.
After these matches, „Liverpool“ still holds the 6th position in the league table, four points behind „Man United“ in fourth place. Meanwhile, „Brentford“ is currently in seventh place.
