The coronavirus paralyzed the football world, and Italy, which is perhaps the most affected by it, continues to consider whether the "Serie A" championship should be completed or terminated.

Rome's "Lazio" sports director Igli Tare recently stated that the season must be completed, but it seems that not all clubs share this opinion.

"Brescia" owner Massimo Cellino stated that prolonging the season no longer makes sense and argued that his team would not play matches if it was decided not to terminate the championships.

"This season no longer makes any sense. We stopped and no team will be able to return as they were before this break. The matches would take place behind closed doors, but we would still risk the health of the players.

In my opinion, resuming the season would be a foolish decision.

If it still happens, then it's likely I will have to order the team not to play matches and to collect technical defeats only out of respect for our city's people and their loved ones, whom they lost during this period," - talking to "Gazzetta dello Sport," M. Cellino said.

"Brescia" is currently in last place in the "Serie A" championship.
