In the 31st minute, Brighton managed to score a goal, but Kaoru Mitoma's goal was disallowed after a VAR review. However, just 7 minutes later, the "Seagulls" were able to score again, with Julio Enciso equalizing with a precise strike.
As the first half ended, the home team's forward Danny Welbeck beat the opponent's goalkeeper, but from an offside position, and his goal was disallowed.
In the second half of the match, Pep Guardiola's players seemed slightly weaker than their opponents. However, just before the end of the match, Erling Haaland managed to score a goal, which was once again disallowed after a VAR review.
This result guarantees Brighton the seventh place in the league table and participation in the next season's Europa League.
