On Sunday, the last match of the 6th round of the English Premier League took place.
"Brighton" hosted the successful "Newcastle" team at home. The "Magpies" winning streak came to an end as the hosts secured a narrow victory.
The winning goal was scored in the 51st minute by Tomer Hemed from a set piece.
"Newcastle" tried to equalize after conceding but created many dangerous opportunities, however, "Brighton" held their defense for the remaining time and celebrated the victory.
"Newcastle" suffered their first defeat after three consecutive wins. "Brighton" secured their second win of the season and rose to 13th position.
