“Brighton” team coach Roberto De Zerbi will seek to strengthen his team in the upcoming transfer window so that they can continue to compete for a place in European tournaments.
David Ornstein from “The Athletic” reports that “Brighton” is interested in Shakhtar Donetsk defender Mykola Matviyenko.
The 26-year-old Ukrainian has been a key center-back for the team for some time. He worked at Donetsk team alongside current “Brighton” coach Roberto de Zerbi.
During the last 6 seasons, M. Matviyenko has played 29 matches in the Champions League.
This season in Group F, “Shakhtar” is battling with “RB Leipzig” for a spot in the knockout stages.
