British press: "Arsenal" already negotiating contract details with "Basel" safely

The English newspaper "Daily Mirror" reports that London's "Arsenal" has finally found a new defensive midfielder. According to the sources of the publication, the capital's team has already agreed on the sale of Mohamed Elneny.

The "Gunners" will pay around 5 million pounds to the "Basel" club for the 23-year-old footballer, and negotiations on personal contract terms are still ongoing.

The Egyptian played 28 matches this season, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists.

There are also rumors in the press that Elneny will be the only purchase for "Arsenal" this winter. This means that fans of the North London team will not see either Moscow's "Dynamo" forward Aleksandr Kokorin or Leverkusen's "Bayer" star Javier Hernandez.
