„Liverpool“ coach Brendan Rodgers has denied rumors that he plans to buy Mario Balotelli this summer. Last week, B.Rodgers praised the 23-year-old Italian national team forward and soon after rumors emerged that „Liverpool“ was preparing to purchase the player from the „AC Milan“ club, writes guardian.co.uk.
„Liverpool“ club has already managed to acquire Divock Origi from „Lille“ and Rickie Lambert from „Southampton“. B.Rodgers is trying to fill the gap that arose when the club sold Luis Suarez to the „Barcelona“ team.
„I can categorically say that M.Balotelli will not play in the „Liverpool“ club,- said B.Rodgers. - During the last press conference, I was asked about him and I talked about what a great talent he is. The next day it was already being written that we are intending to buy him. I simply praised him and did not talk about the possibility of buying the footballer.“
