"Liverpool" club strategist Brendan Rodgers warns competitors that the team has not yet reached their best form.
At least until Monday evening, the "Liverpool" team rose to the first place in the English league, but the team's coach insists that the "Reds" can play even better.
"Against Cardiff City, we demonstrated excellent teamwork. I think we played particularly well in the first half. The team's speed and movement on the field were top class," praised his players, the strategist.
"We controlled the match, scored three goals, and could have scored more. In January, you will see that this team is on the rise."
"You can see in the team's game what football ideas we have tried to implement over the past 18 months. Now these ideas are starting to work."
"The players enjoy such aggressive and attacking football, but the most important value of such a game is hard work. This style of play is uplifting, and I believe we can perform even better," Rodgers concluded.
The holiday period will not be the easiest for the "Liverpool" team. The "Reds" have upcoming away matches at "Stamford Bridge" and "Etihad" stadiums, and on the first day of 2014, the team will host "Hull City" at home.
