"Liverpool" club strategist Brendan Rodgers admitted that he was impressed by Mario Balotelli's work in training.
The 24-year-old Italian national team striker could make his debut this Sunday in the English "Premier" match against "Tottenham".
Earlier this week, the controversial Italian left "Milan" and moved to the "Liverpool" club for 20 million euros.
"Mario is doing well. He has integrated well into the team and looks fantastic in training. He is a good guy. Mario is focused on football and it is going very well for him", - said B.Rodgers.
"Balotelli moved to Merseyside and has just started the adaptation process. I am looking forward to and expect him to improve over the coming years".
However, the "Reds" strategist hurried to say that no player is more important than the team.
"This is not Mario's personal show. He is a good, talented player. However, he still needs to work a lot. We have many top-level players and the main star will always be the team", - said the 41-year-old specialist.
