The Latvian national team, like the Lithuanian national team, took the last place in their group in League C of the Nations League.

In the final match of Group 4 of the Nations League C division, Latvia lost 1:2 to the Armenian national team.

Spertsyan and Miranyan scored the goals that determined the Armenian victory. The goal by Roberts Uldrikis did not save the Latvians.

In their group, Latvia fought for 4 points – all of them against the Faroe Islands national team. Despite this, the Faroe Islands players secured 6 points in other matches, leaving the Latvians at the bottom.

With 4 points, the Latvians should secure at least a playoff for survival in the Nations League. If the Lithuanian national team does not secure any points in the Matches, they will drop to the lowest Division D.
