Bulgarian director: only white players can play in our team © „Reuters“

The director of the Bulgarian national football team, Georgi Ivanov, made a widely publicized statement.

According to the official, he will never allow football players of a different skin color to play in his team.

According to the Bulgarian media, the director, known as "Gonzo," violated the principles of the 2008 UEFA campaign "Respect," which called for not offending others based on their race, gender, abilities, or religion.

"Only Bulgarians must play in our team.

As long as I am the director, no foreign player of a different skin color or with a foreign passport will play in our national team," G. Ivanov clarified.

At the moment, Bulgaria is ranked 71st in the FIFA rankings.
