Bundesliga: "Bayern" regained first position © EuroFootball.com

More and more exciting is the German football championship. On Saturday, seven matches of the tenth round were played in the Bundesliga - four matches were won by the hosts, one victory was celebrated by the guests, and the remaining two matches ended in a draw. The "Bayern" team continues to successfully compete. This time, the defending champions from Munich club crushed the league's outsiders "Duisburg" at home 4-0. The goals for the winners were scored by all internationals - German M.Ballack, Brazilian Ze Roberto, Paraguayan R.S.Cruzas, and Peruvian striker C.Pizzaro. After the victory, "Bayern" once again became the sole leaders of the league, as their biggest rivals, the "Werder" footballers, played a goalless draw away against "Hannover" and only managed to secure one point in this round. By the way, the guests finished these matches with ten men because in the 82nd minute, "Werder" defender F.Fahrenhorst was sent off for a handball. The match between "Wolfsburg" and "Schalke" teams also ended goalless. The hosts were missing two important people - defender M.Franzo and team coach H.Facho, who was disqualified after the last round's match against "Hamburger." Meanwhile, "Schalke" club was without E.Sandas, who broke his nose in the Champions League match against "Fenerbahce." The first half of the match between "Wolfsburg" and "Schalke" was not very interesting - both teams only had one better opportunity to score. Immediately after the break, "Schalke" coach made several changes, but that didn't help on the field. Players from both teams often stopped opponent attacks with fouls and almost didn't give any chances for the strikers to score. Thus, the match ended in a goalless draw, after which "Schalke" continues to be the only Bundesliga team that has not experienced a defeat yet. A very productive match took place in Frankfurt between the newcomers of the league, the "Eintracht" and "Koln" clubs. The hosts secured a 6-3 victory. Interestingly, no player scored more than one goal in this match. This was the fifth consecutive defeat for "Koln," after which R.Rangnick's coached team dropped to the fourteenth position in the league. Meanwhile, the "Eintracht" players, who achieved their second consecutive victory, at least temporarily climbed out of the absolute bottom of the league and currently occupy the thirteenth position. In other matches, "Arminia" broke the resistance of "Nurnberg" in a very tough battle at the end of the match, "Hertha," participating in the UEFA Cup, defeated "Mainz" 3-1, and "Gladbach" players defeated guests from Kaiserslautern 4-1 at home.
