"Bundesliga": "Bayern" won in Cologne, "Hoffenheim" suffered a painful defeat (VIDEO)

In the German "Bundesliga" championship, all nine matches of the penultimate round were played on Saturday.

The country's champions faced the absolute league underdogs "Koln" away. Munich's "Bayern" conceded the first goal, but in the second half the opponents could not hold on.

In the 30th minute, the ball fell into the Bavarian goal from Niklas Sule. The visitors equalized in the 59th minute, with James Rodriguez scoring. Just two minutes later, Robert Lewandowski put the visitors ahead, and Corentin Tolisso sealed the deal in the 78th minute.

In other matches, "Hoffenheim" suffered a 0-2 defeat away, which would have secured them a spot in the UEFA Champions League tournament with a victory.

"Hoffenheim" is still in fourth place, but in the last round they could drop to seventh place. "Bayer", "Leipzig", and "Eintracht" are still competing for the Champions League.

Other matches ended with wins for the clubs "Schalke", "Gladbach", "Mainz", "Eintracht", "Hannover", and "Leipzig". "Bayer" and "Werder" shared a point.
