It is reported that the German football championship will be resumed in just ten days - on May 15. This is not far behind the original optimistic scenario, when it was planned to play on May 9.

According to “Reuters” sources, representatives of the German states have already given permission to play matches, and league officials will announce the official decision on Wednesday. This will happen after a meeting of state leaders with Chancellor Angela Merkel.

On Monday, the German Football League (DFL) announced the testing of coronavirus for players in the first and second leagues, as well as other instructions to resume the football championships. In total, 3624 coronavirus tests were conducted for players and club employees. Of them, 10 were positive, infected individuals were treated and isolated.
