Germany's Bundesliga kicked off the 32nd round on Friday in a high-scoring manner.
"Koln" faced off against Bremen's "Werder" team on their home turf. In a seven-goal thriller, "Koln" emerged victorious with a 4-3 scoreline.
After goals from Anthony Modeste and Leonardo Bittencourt, "Koln" took the lead 2-0 in the 28th minute, but their opponents equalized within six minutes and made it 2-2 by the 40th minute.
However, "Koln" managed to regain the advantage before the end of the first half, with Simon Zoller scoring a goal. At the start of the second half, the hosts scored another goal to make it 4-2.
Despite their efforts, "Werder" could not find the back of the net until the 62nd minute when Serge Gnabry narrowed the deficit. In the remaining time, Bremen's eleven tried to level the score, but "Koln" successfully played out the rest of the match and celebrated a 4-3 victory.
"Koln" and "Werder" both have 45 points, but due to a better goal difference, the team that won in this match holds a higher position in the standings.
