Germany's "Bundesliga" championship started the 17th round on Friday evening.
Mönchengladbach's "Borussia" finally ended a series of three winless matches at home. The "black and whites" showed their superiority against the footballers from Hamburg with a score of 3-1.
In the 9th minute, Thorgan Hazard led the hosts ahead, but the guests from Hamburg managed to equalize the score in the beginning of the second half.
Nevertheless, "Gladbach" did not give up, and the victory was sealed by Raffael. The 32-year-old Brazilian regained the goal advantage in the 74th minute, and secured the win in less than five minutes.
After the victory, "Gladbach" temporarily rose to the fourth position. "Hamburger" ranks 16th with 15 points.
