"Bundesliga": "Schalke" convincingly beat "Bayer" away (VIDEO)

On Friday, the 31st round of the German "Bundesliga" championship started.

The first match took place in Leverkusen, where the local "Bayer" hosted the footballers from Gelsenkirchen's "Schalke". The guests confidently dealt with "Bayer" and celebrated a victory with a score of 4-1.

Already after the first half, "Schalke" was leading with a score of 3-0. The goals for the winners were scored by Guido Burgstaller, Benedikt Howedes, and Alessandro Schopf.

In the second half, the same G. Burgstaller scored another goal for the visitors. The hosts scored a consolation goal in the 69th minute by Stefan Kiessling.

"Schalke" occupies the eighth position with 41 points, while "Bayer" is having a tough season - currently only in 12th place. There are only three rounds left to play until the end of the championship.
