Two matches took place on Sunday in the Bundesliga - after a few surprises in Saturday's matches, the chances of defending the champions title were renewed by Bremen's "Werder", while leaders Bayern Munich missed the opportunity to widen the gap.
Bayern players traveled to Berlin knowing that a victory against local "Hertha" would let them at least three points away from Schalke club, however the Bavarians had to settle for a draw.
In the other day's match, "Werder" won at home against Rostock's "Hansa" in a close game and moved up to fifth place. Ivan Klasnic scored two goals for the winners, while Miroslav Klose scored one goal.
