Philas Bardsley signed a new contract with the English Premier League club Burnley. The new contract will be valid until the summer of 2022. The 25-year-old defender has been playing for Burnley since 2017, when he transferred from Stoke City. Having come through the Manchester United academy, the right-back has played for Rangers, Aston Villa, Sheffield United, and Sunderland. He has also represented the Scottish national team in 13 matches. "Bardsley is a top-level professional. He is still hungry and is capable of demonstrating the highest class," said Burnley manager Sean Dyche.
