On Thursday evening, Borussia Dortmund won the German Cup by defeating RB Leipzig in the final with a confident 4:1 result. BVB took the lead as early as the 5th minute after Jadon Sancho's goal. In the 28th minute, Erling Haaland doubled his team's advantage. Sancho scored his second goal in the additional time of the first half. RB Leipzig got a consolation goal in the 72nd minute through Dani Olmo. Haaland scored the final goal in the 87th minute of the match. Dortmund won the German Cup for the fifth time in their history.
