On Tuesday, the quarter-final matches of the German Cup were played. In the tournament semi-finals, Dortmund's "Borussia" advanced by defeating "Monchengladbach" football players away. The only goal of the match was scored by J. Sancho in the 66th minute. The visitors' advantage could have been greater, but the referee did not count E. Haaland's goal in the 53rd minute after a VAR review. "Borussia" will face the winner of the matches between "Regensburg" and "Werder Bremen" in the next stage.
