The first round match of the German Bundesliga championship between Borussia Dortmund and Werder ended in a 2-2 draw at Dortmund's home.
It was the guests who took the lead in the 7th minute with a precise shot from Milot Rashica, but just a minute later Mario Gotze equalized with a header.
At the end of the first half, BVB managed to turn the match around - Marco Reus scored in the 41st minute.
However, Werder managed to equalize in the 55th minute when Marco Friedl scored after a successful corner kick.
Neither team was able to score any more goals in the remaining time, and they both shared a point.
Borussia is currently in seventh place with 11 points, while Werder is in 10th place with seven points.
