Having led the Madrid "Real" club for two years, Carlo Ancelotti is not surprised by Sergio Ramos's demonstrated sports performance and claims that he intended to place him in a striker position at one point.
This season, S. Ramos is a true hero of the royal club - in the last two "La Liga" matches, the defender's goals with his head equalized against "Barcelona" and brought victory against La Coruna's "Deportivo."
On the 30-year-old footballer's account, there are already five precise shots. C. Ancelotti claims that S. Ramos has enough quality to play in an attacking position, but there were no serious intentions to retrain the Spaniard into this position, of course.
"He continues his miraculous goal-scoring performance," Ancelotti told the "AS" newspaper. "He does it because he has enough quality to play upfront."
"The fact is, he could be a great striker. Sometimes I joked with him, saying that today's match I was going to let him play as a striker.
His personality and character are really important to this team," the coach added.
