The English newspaper "Daily Star" reveals that Carlo Ancelotti would agree to take over the reins of London's "Arsenal" if the current manager Arsene Wenger were to be sacked this summer.
The Frenchman is facing increasing pressure due to the extremely poor form of the team this season. The "Gunners" recently lost in the Carabao Cup final, and they currently sit in sixth place in the Premier League - a position they have never finished so low with Wenger.
However, it is precisely this position in the league table that seems the most realistic, as they are eight points behind the team above them, "Chelsea."
Perhaps the only chance for "Arsenal" to redeem themselves is in the UEFA Europa League, where they will face "Milan" in the round of 16. However, even at home they suffered a defeat to the modest "Ostersunds" club, so not all fans believe in the "Gunners'" chances of triumph.
Ancelotti, on the other hand, is currently without a job after leaving Bayern Munich, but in the past he has shown excellent results in England at the helm of "Chelsea."
