Carlo Ancelotti believes that in the ranks of Munich's "Bayern" he can better utilize James Rodriguez than Zinedine Zidane has been doing in the past few years at Madrid's "Real" club.
C. Ancelotti was one of those people who attracted J. Rodriguez to the "white" team in 2014. In his debut season, the Colombian was the best player in the Madrid team - in 46 matches, he scored 17 goals and made 18 assists.
However, when C. Ancelotti left the Real team, the Colombian's playing time significantly decreased. Now, J. Rodriguez is mostly only in the starting lineup every other match.
J. Rodriguez was already linked with a departure this winter, but later the footballer stated that he is ready to fight for a place in the team, as Real is his dream team.
However, it is undisputed that if the situation does not change, J. Rodriguez will decide to leave the Spanish capital this summer. "Marca" reported that C. Ancelotti has already indicated to Bayern's management that he sees the Colombian as a priority purchase for next summer.
Despite not being a regular starter for Real, J. Rodriguez has played 23 matches this season in which he managed to score five goals and provide 12 assists.
