Cesar Azpilicueta insists he is very happy in the ranks of London's Chelsea and rejects rumors linking him to Barcelona.
This year, the Spaniard had to move from the left flank of defense to the middle, but that did not prevent him from playing another great season.
Previously, the 27-year-old footballer has played on the right as well, catching the attention of the Catalans, whose hopes of attracting Hector Bellerin seem unclear.
"It's very pleasing that a club like Barcelona can be interested in you," Azpilicueta told Marca. "Last year, after a poor season, we didn't have this kind of rumors."
"However, this season we became champions, and this information shows that we did well."
"Interest from teams of this level brings positivity, but I am very happy here. I feel very valued by the club and don't think about anything else."
This season, Azpilicueta became just the fourth Premier League winner in history to have played absolutely every possible minute on the field.
